Kadarius Toney To Miss Another Game

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) will not play in Week 17 on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Toney is dealing with a strained hip and will miss his second straight game. The oft-injured former first-rounder continues to disappoint in his first full season with the Chiefs. The 24-year-old was expected to have a much bigger role in 2023, but instead he's caught only 27 of 38 targets for 169 yards and one touchdown in 13 games played. He's added 11 rushing attempts for 31 yards. Toney will enter next season off the fantasy radar. Rookie Rashee Rice is the clear leader of KC's receiver room, followed by Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Richie James. It looks like the Chiefs will be getting Mecole Hardman Jr. (thumb) back this week, too.
