Kadarius Toney Still Not A Fantasy Factor
12 months ago

The Kansas City Chiefs are apparently being cautious with wide receiver Kadarius Toney following his offseason knee surgery. That's one way to explain Toney's lack of playing time (24.3% snap share), but it's always possible that the former first-round pick simply never escaped head coach Andy Reid's doghouse after a miserable season opener saw him commit at least three drops. For what it's worth, K.C. is yet to free up their passing game for any wideout to emerge as even a pseudo alpha. Toney has commanded 28 targets on 91 routes run, which checks out to an elite 30.8% rate. But most of those looks have been low-value, short-area dump-offs since the Week 1 debacle, as Toney has seen 11 air yards or fewer in each game played since then. The 24-year-old is a super-deep-league stash for those stubborn enough to hold on, but Toney is a complete Week 11 lineup fade versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
