Kadarius Toney Practicing In Full
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (toe) practiced in full in Thursday's session. Toney's toe issue appears to be behind him, but he's still looking to iron out one of the league's most mystifying stat profiles entering Week 5's appetizing matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The bulk of the 24-year-old's opportunity, productivity, and efficiency metrics remain in the cellar, except for a rapid 33.3% target rate (13 looks on 39 routes run) and an elite 3.08 average yards of separation when the pass arrives. It's a head-scratching combination, rendering Toney unplayable in most season-long leagues and difficult to justify in large-field DFS tournaments on Sunday. The former first-rounder is getting open at a higher rate than most receivers, but everything that's come after has been totally enigmatic, with nine catches for 57 yards thus far. Toney remains a bench stash for fantasy managers patient enough to spend the roster spot on him.
