Kadarius Toney Missing Another Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) will miss a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday. Toney missed the Week 16 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day due to a hip injury and is now firmly in danger of missing a second straight game in Week 17 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old hasn't really been on the fantasy radar all year anyway, catching 27 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets in his first full season in Kansas City. If he is forced to sit out again this Sunday, it would give receivers like Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Richie James more opportunities behind rookie Rashee Rice. Rice has been the team's only reliable weapon from a fantasy perspective in 2023.
