Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (quad) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This was widely anticipated after he was unable to practice in any capacity this week. The Texans turned to Dare Ogunbowale as their emergency kicker for the second half of Week 9, but they have since brought in a true kicker to prepare for Fairbairn's absence. The team signed Matt Ammendola, who spent two games each with the Cardinals and Chiefs in 2022. Through 15 games, he's converted 69.2 percent of field goals and 86.4 percent of extra points. Despite the Texans possessing a solid offense, Ammendola can't be trusted in fantasy football, primarily due to concerns about his accuracy.
