Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps) was not present at practice on Wednesday and is trending toward missing the Week 10 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. Fairbairn injured his quadriceps muscle during a kickoff in the Week 9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could end up missing multiple games, so fantasy managers that have been using the 29-year-old kicker should be looking for a replacement, at least in the short term. With Fairbairn injured, the team has signed Matt Ammendola to their practice squad, and he figures to take over kicking duties this weekend against Cincinnati.
