Ka'imi Fairbairn Expected To Return In Week 14

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps) is expected to be activated from Injured Reserve and return to kick in Week 14 against the New York Jets. Fairbairn is required to miss just one more game while on Injured Reserve due to a strained quadriceps. Matt Ammendola hasn't been very effective in the three games that Fairbairn has missed, but the Texans will roll with him for one more game this Sunday against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. The 29-year-old Fairbairn has been a top-five fantasy kicker in 2023 based on average fantasy points per game at 8.5. In eight games before his quadriceps injury, Fairbairn had made 18 of his 19 field-goal tries and all 14 of his extra points, so he will surely be back on the fantasy map when he comes off IR next week.
