Juwan Johnson Remains Absent From The Practice Field
one year ago

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (calf) missed another day of practice on Thursday. Johnson initially injured his calf during pre-game warmups before Week 4 and hasn't practiced or played since. It's beginning to look like he's going to miss a third straight game in Week 6 against the Houston Texans unless he returns to the practice field on Friday. The 27-year-old belongs on the waiver wire in standard-sized leagues for the time being. It's not like he did much in the first three games of the year to begin with, as he had seven catches on 12 targets for 61 scoreless yards for the Saints. Foster Moreau, Jimmy Graham and Taysom Hill will continue to form a tight end committee if Johnson continues to sit. Fantasy managers will want to stay away from that trio.
