Juwan Johnson Picks Up Another DNP
one year ago

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (calf) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report. Johnson injured his calf in pre-game warmups in Week 4 and hasn't played or practiced since. On a short turnaround in Week 7 with a Thursday night matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it seems unlikely that Johnson will be able to return. In his three games played in 2023, Johnson has just seven receptions for 61 yards on 12 targets. Fantasy managers can continue to leave him on the waiver wire. Taysom Hill, Foster Moreau and Jimmy Graham will continue to split tight end duties in New Orleans with Johnson sidelined. It's a situation to stay away from in fantasy, although Hill did have his most productive game of the year (seven catches for 49 yards) in the Week 6 loss to the Houston Texans.
