Justin Jefferson Won't Play On Monday Night
12 months ago

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is "very close" to returning from his hamstring injury, according to a source, but the team will play it safe and won't activate him from Injured Reserve to play on Monday night against the Chicago Bears. Jefferson is expected to be 100 percent after next week's bye and should practice fully and play in Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Dec. 10. The 24-year-old All-Pro wideout has not played since Week 5, but he'll be a must-start when he's back in Week 14 in all fantasy lineups. For fantasy managers that somehow managed to get into the playoffs without him, he'll be returning at just the right time. For one more game, tight end T.J. Hockenson and rookie first-rounder Jordan Addison will serve as Minnesota's top targets.
