Justin Jefferson Unlikely To Play Monday

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is listed as questionable to play on Monday night in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, but the Vikings will exercise caution with their star wideout and he is considered unlikely to play, according to a source. Minnesota has a bye next week and the belief is that Jefferson is expected to be ready post bye for the Dec. 10 game at the Las Vegas Raiders. Jefferson hurt his hammy on Oct. 8 and has been on Injured Reserve ever since. The team has slowly ramped up his exertion levels in the last three weeks, but Jefferson has not fully practiced and remains questionable. The reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year had 36 catches, 571 yards and three touchdowns on 53 targets in the first five weeks. With Jefferson likely to sit out again in Week 12, tight end T.J. Hockenson and rookie Jordan Addison should continue to be the Vikings' primary targets through the air.
