Justin Jefferson Officially Placed On Injured Reserve
one year ago

The Minnesota Vikings officially placed All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the Week 5 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Vikes also put backup quarterback Nick Mullens (back) on IR. In corresponding moves, Minnesota signed receivers N'Keal Harry and Trishton Jackson from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster and signed Sean Mannion, Dan Chisena and Troy Fumagalli to their practice squad. Jefferson must be stashed in all fantasy leagues. He'll miss at least four games, but the Vikings won't be in a rush to put him back on the field if they are well out of contention by then. Until the 24-year-old is back, rookie Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and T.J. Hockenson will be Minnesota's top pass-catchers.
