Justin Herbert Still Listed With Finger Injury

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (finger) remains on the Week 9 injury report but was able to put in a full practice on Thursday. Herbert fractured his left finger in Week 4 but hasn't missed any games after a convenient Week 5 bye. He was excellent in the Week 8 beatdown of the Chicago Bears last Sunday night, going 31-for-40 for 298 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. It was a nice bounce-back performance after he laid an egg in the Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The 25-year-old signal-caller remains a QB1, but fantasy managers may want to temper expectations a bit for a Monday night matchup on the road against the tough New York Jets defense this week. That will especially be the case if receiver Joshua Palmer (knee) is unable to play.
