Justin Herbert Doesn't Expect To Be Restricted By Finger
one year ago

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (finger) told reporters on Thursday that he doesn't expect to be restricted in the Week 6 game on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys after fracturing his left middle finger on his non-throwing hand in Week 4. He said he would "probably not" take any snaps under center in practice this week until the game. Head coach Brandon Staley also said Herbert's injury "won't have any effect" on Monday's game plan. Herbert has worn a white glove on his left hand during practice this week, which he said he'll likely continue to wear until the injury passes. The team's Week 5 bye came at a good time, but Herbert said he felt like he could have played anyway. The QB2 overall in terms of fantasy points per game to this point, Herbert is a must-start for fantasy lineups against Dallas in Week 6.
