Justin Fields Limited Again Tuesday
one year ago

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Tuesday. Fields hasn't played since dislocating his right thumb in the Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but he returned to practice in a limited capacity for the first time last Friday and could be available to play on Thursday night against the one-win Carolina Panthers. The Bears are officially calling the 24-year-old day-to-day this week. A decision on whether he'll play in Week 10 could come down to a game-time decision. Rookie Tyson Bagent has been Chicago's starter at QB the last three games and has mostly underwhelmed. If Fields is able to gain clearance to play this week, he'll have low-end QB1 upside, mostly for his ability to pick up chunk gains with his legs.
