Justin Fields Expected To Miss Multiple Games

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) is expected to miss multiple games, but won't be placed on the injured reserve. This is obviously a tough blow to the Bears, but it doesn't sound like Fields is going to need a trip to the IR. That means, the organization doesn't believe that Fields will miss four games due to his dislocated thumb. In the meantime, undrafted quarterback Tyson Bagent will start under center versus the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. He won't be a viable streaming option given it's his first career start.
