Justin Fields Could Miss 2-3 Weeks
one year ago

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) is officially out in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders and is dealing with an injury that could keep him out for two to three weeks. Fields dislocated his right thumb in the Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and might not be able to return until Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. The good news is that he will not require surgery. The injury is mostly about his functionality and ability to grip the football. Fields has had a couple big games and some stinkers in an up-and-down year so far, but he needs to remain stashed in all fantasy leagues. In the meantime, undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent will make his first career start in Week 7 versus the Raiders at home.
