Julio Jones Catches His Only Target In Eagles Debut
one year ago

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones didn't do much in his debut with the team in the 31-17 win over the visiting Miami Dolphins on Sunday night in Week 7, hauling in his only target for a gain of three yards. The Eagles added the seven-time Pro Bowl pass-catcher for receiver depth last week. Jones, now 34, might pop up for a catch here or there for the Eagles as long as he remains healthy, but he's not expected to make any kind of significant impact for a Philly offense that already has enough mouths to feed among A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. Jones' presence is mostly bad news for Olamide Zaccheaus, who was unable to haul in his only target on Sunday night. Jones played just 22% of the offensive snaps, which Zaccheaus playing 57%.
