JuJu Smith-Schuster Returns To Practice
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Demario Douglas (concussion) returned to the practice field on Wednesday and were limited participants. Smith-Schuster and Douglas suffered concussions in Week 5 and missed the Week 6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. They both appear to be making progress, but it remains unclear if they have cleared the league's concussion protocol or whether they'll return to action this Sunday against the division-rival Buffalo Bills. Neither wideout is a realistic flex play in standard-sized fantasy leagues with the Patriots offense struggling so badly in 2023. Smith-Schuster has 14 receptions for 86 yards and no touchdowns in five games, while Douglas has 10 catches for 143 yards and no scores in five contests.
