JuJu Smith-Schuster, Demario Douglas Still Limited With Concussions
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Demario Douglas (concussion) were both limited once more in Thursday's practice. Both wideouts missed Week 6's 21-17 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders due to concussions, but the limited sessions can only bode well for their statuses ahead of Week 7's divisional clash with the Buffalo Bills. Friday's injury report could be key in determining if one or both of Smith-Schuster and Douglas will gain clearance by Sunday's tilt, as it remains unclear if they've fully passed concussion protocol at this point. With that said, Kendrick Bourne is about the only Patriots WR in the deep-league flex conversation in a rough matchup with a great Bills defense. JuJu has a paltry 3.4 yards per target on 14 catches (25 targets) this season, while Douglas has brought in 10-of-17 passes for 143 scoreless yards in his rookie campaign.
