The Arizona Cardinals are trading quarterback Joshua Dobbs and a seventh-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a sixth-round pick. This move comes after Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles in the Week 8 win over the Green Bay Packers. Dobbs has enjoyed decent success this season for Arizona, compiling 1,569 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns, five interceptions, 258 rushing yards, and three rushing touchdowns. He now joins a QB room consisting of rookie Jaren Hall and veteran Nick Mullens, who is on Injured Reserve. Dobbs should be the favorite to win the starting job, and there's a chance he could keep wide receiver Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson afloat in fantasy football. Justin Jefferson (hamstring) could return as soon as Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, but he might be out longer.
