Josh Jacobs Looking To Continue Production
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win against the Green Bay Packers. Jacobs also caught all five of his targets in Sunday's contest for 20 yards. After an underwhelming start to the season, Jacobs has performed well in back-to-back games. Jacobs faces the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Patriots have not been a cakewalk matchup for running backs, but they have given up over 120 yards on the ground in back-to-back weeks and allow the seventh-most receptions to running backs. The Raiders running back has had 17 or more carries in four of five games and leads all running backs in targets and receptions. With his stranglehold on the backfield carries and involvement in the passing game, Jacobs has one of the most secure roles in football. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Jacobs as an RB1 this week.
