Josh Downs Added To Week 9 Injury Report
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts rookie wide receiver Josh Downs (knee) was added to the Week 9 injury report due to a knee injury. He was officially listed as limited. The impressive 22-year-old wideout must have injured himself in practice on Thursday. Mid-week injuries usually are never a good thing, but Downs will have another day to test out the injury in practice on Friday. If he's not on the practice field on Friday, there's a good chance he won't be able to play in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. Making things more difficult if he's questionable is the fact that the Colts play in the later slate of games this Sunday. If Downs is ultimately unable to play this week, Alec Pierce would gain some flex appeal as the No. 2 behind Michael Pittman Jr. Isaiah McKenzie would also have a bigger role in the passing game.
