Josh Allen Revives Late For Strong Fantasy Effort
one year ago

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (shoulder) had the third consecutive game of doing most of his damage in the second half, throwing for two touchdowns and sneaking another one in on the ground on 27-of-41 passing in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the New England Patriots. It was simultaneously Buffalo's third straight week enduring a nondescript first half, with this iteration seeing Allen toss a head-scratching pick on their first play from scrimmage. After failing to reach 100 passing yards over the initial two quarters, the 27-year-old fantasy sensation took over in the later stages to catalyze a late rally. Allen finished with 265 yards through the air, adding 17 rushing yards. He now has multiple all-purpose scores in every game but the season opener. Allen experiences a quick turnaround in Week 8 on Thursday versus a scrappy Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense allowing just 17.3 points per game.
