Josh Allen Provides Fantasy Goods In Loss
one year ago

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen supplied another strong fantasy line in Week 9's 24-18 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, completing 26-of-38 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown, and one interception with eight carries for 44 yards and a score. Allen got to off to a fast start, something he hasn't been able to do in recent weeks, making a defender look silly during a pump fake on the way past the end zone for a short rushing touchdown on Buffalo's opening drive. But the 27-year-old struggled to sustain drives thereafter, throwing his ninth interception of the season while looking for Gabe Davis in the second quarter. The Bills were dominated in time of possession during the first half, but they found enough of a stride in the second half to allow Allen to find Stefon Diggs for a 17-yard score. Allen and the Bills aim for some consistency in Week 10's potential smash spot at home next Monday night against the Denver Broncos.
