Josh Allen Looks To Keep Tearing Up Patriots
one year ago

Officially off the Week 7 injury report, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (shoulder) remains fantasy's top-ranked QB1 and completion rate leader (71.7%) despite a subpar Week 6 display. Perhaps by design, Allen has dialed back on rushing outside of the red zone this year. The Bills are playing at a frustratingly slow place, but the New England Patriots have operated at one the league's quickest tempos. The Pats are suppressing opposing signal-callers to the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game (12.34) and third-least rushing yards (39), which is surprising, since they play so much man coverage. But Allen has put on a show against Bill Belichick's defense in his last five starts, averaging 248.8 passing yards and 41.0 rushing yards with a 14:1 TD-to-INT ratio. With his connection to top target Stefon Diggs looking as harmonious as ever, the 27-year-old superstar should be treated as a top-flight QB1 in Week 7.
