Josh Allen Comes Alive Late For Big Fantasy Effort
one year ago

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 27-of-40 passes for 359 yards plus two touchdowns and an interception with four carries for 14 yards and an additional score in Week 5's 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Buffalo's recent first quarter success didn't travel across the pond, but Allen flicked a 15-yard strike to Stefon Diggs to score near the first half's close. After Diggs lost a jump ball to Darious Williams for Allen's interception, Buffalo's offense woke up to stage a late rally. Allen connected with Gabe Davis for a 19-yard score before the 27-year-old superstar plowed ahead for a rushing TD to make things interesting in the fourth quarter. Considering the Bills had less than 22 minutes with the ball, it was a success for Allen's fantasy managers. Buffalo's offense has played at one of the league's slowest paces, and they may not need to up the tempo next Sunday night versus the uninspiring New York Giants.
