Jordan Love Boasts Strong Performance In Season Opener
one year ago

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 15-of-27 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns, adding three carries for 12 yards, during the team's 38-20 victory over the Chicago Bears. In his first year as the Packers starter, the 24-year-old continued the tradition of routing the division rival Bears to open the regular season. The young quarterback started slow but opened up the offense in the second half, tossing two touchdowns and putting the Packers way out in front heading into the game's final quarter. Being able to produce these numbers without his top option, Christian Watson (hamstring), is an excellent sign of things to come. However, we do need to be cautious, as the Chicago defense is fairly soft. Love will take on the Atlanta Falcons next week, a great matchup for those streaming the position to take advantage of. The Packers starter should be considered a top-tier streaming option in Week 2.
