Jonathan Taylor To Be Ramped Up In Week 6
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that running back Jonathan Taylor will be ramped up more in his second game of the year in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Taylor missed the first four weeks of the regular season while on the Physically Unable to Perform list for an ankle injury that required offseason surgery. In his 2023 debut in the Week 5 win over the Tennessee Titans, he played just 10 offensive snaps and took a back seat to Zack Moss. Taylor saw six carries for 18 yards and caught his only target for 16 yards. Moss isn't going to just go away, especially if he continues to be efficient, but the 24-year-old Taylor should eventually gain control of this backfield in Indy.
