The Indianapolis Colts officially ruled out running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) for the Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans after he underwent surgery on his injured thumb on Wednesday. There's no firm timetable on Taylor, but he's expected to miss somewhere between two to three weeks. The Colts are not considering placing him on Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games. Fantasy managers must stash the 24-year-old and hope that he's back to full speed in a couple of weeks for postseason play in fantasy formats. With Taylor out, Zack Moss will have RB2 upside in fantasy lineups as Indy's lead back. Trey Sermon will serve as his backup, starting this Sunday against the Titans.
