Jonathan Taylor An RB1 Option In Week 9
one year ago

Indianapolis Colts running back is coming off a strong outing in the team's Week 8 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Taylor ran the ball 12 times for 95 yards and reeled in one of his two targets on the day. While it looks like the former rushing champion is getting back to form, fellow running back Zack Moss (heel) has stayed equally involved in the backfield up to this point. Despite Moss being removed from the team's most recent injury report, Taylor is still in line for a large workload when Indy faces off against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers' defense has been kind to opposing fantasy running backs, allowing the second-most points of any team to the position. On top of that, Carolina is allowing the fourth-most rushing yards to teams this season. Indy will look to rely heavily on the run game against a stingy Panthers' pass defense, elevating Taylor to an RB1 for the matchup.
