Jonathan Taylor A Non-Factor In Season Debut
one year ago

After a long offseason of contract negotiations and a stint on the Physically Unable to Perform List, Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) made his 2023 debut in Sunday's 23-16 win against the Tennessee Titans. However, Taylor was primarily not involved in Sunday's win, carrying the ball only six times for 18 yards. The 2021 rushing yard leader took a backseat to fellow backfield member running back Zack Moss, who toted the ball 23 times in Sunday's contest. It is still being determined how long the Colts intend on keeping Taylor limited in his return from injury. Still, fantasy managers should pay close attention to any incoming announcements made by HC Shane Steichen ahead of their matchup in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Barring any additional insight from the Colts coaching staff, fantasy managers can look to include Taylor as an RB2 in that matchup.
