Joe Mixon Still A Flex Option In Week 8

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon hasn't had the best season. The 27-year-old still hasn't surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark. Even worse, he has only one touchdown while averaging a mediocre 3.8 yards per carry. With the Bengals coming off a bye in Week 7, Mixon and company will look for a third-straight win on Sunday versus San Francisco. Unfortunately, the 49ers defense has played well against opposing running backs this season, allowing just three rushing touchdowns, so fantasy managers aren't expecting big things from the former Oklahoma Sooner. But Mixon still has a higher ceiling than most backs in the National Football League, meaning he should remain a flex option, especially in PPR formats, at the very least.
