Joe Mixon Extends Hot Streak In Loss

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon closed Week 11's 34-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens with 16 carries for 69 yards and five catches for 31 yards plus a touchdown. Mixon had a massive first half, rounding up 78 total yards on 13 touches while hooking up with quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) for a score from four yards out in the second quarter. The Bengals appeared to have the wind knocked out of their sails following Burrow's departure, so the 27-year-old former Pro Bowler quieted down with the rest of the offense for the remainder of Thursday's outing. Mixon is still on a bit of a heater since Cincinnati's Week 7 bye, tallying at least 45 scrimmage yards and a TD in each of his last four dates. Cincy could lean on the ground game if backup Jake Browning is under center in Week 12's divisional clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers, likely making Mixon a high-floor/low-ceiling RB2.
