Joe Burrow's Availability For Week 3 Is Up In The Air
one year ago

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said it was hard to say if quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) will be able to play next Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. Burrow apparently tweaked a right-calf injury in the Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens that he's been dealing with since early in training camp. With the Bengals not playing until Monday night this week, Burrow's injury could make fantasy managers' decisions very tough. At the very least, you should have a backup QB in place just in case it doesn't look good for Burrow later this week. The 26-year-old and the Bengals got off to another slow start on Sunday, but he managed to go 27-for-41 for 222 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. If Burrow cannot play next Monday, Jake Browning would be given a start.
