Joe Burrow Continues To Look In Sync
one year ago

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was excellent in Sunday's 24-18 victory over the Buffalo Bills, completing 31-of-44 passes for a season-high 348 yards with two touchdowns. Burrow marched the offense right down the field to start the game, connecting on all six of his passes for 65 yards and a touchdown to Irv Smith Jr. in the back of the end zone. The 26-year-old guided another scoring drive on the ensuing possession, finishing it off with a Joe Mixon handoff and short TD plunge. Burrow later hung in the pocket to dump it off to Drew Sample, who leaked out for a 22-yard catch-and-run score during the second quarter. Burrow has looked like a different player since the Week 7 bye, which allowed his balky calf strain time to heal. The star signal-caller appeared to get a cut on his right index finger but said after the game that he was fine. Burrow is back on the midrange QB1 map for Week 10's duel with C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.
