Jimmy Garoppolo Will Play On Monday Night
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will start on Monday Night Football against the visiting Green Bay Packers. Garoppolo suffered a concussion in Week 3 on Sunday night and was held out of last week's loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. The 31-year-old has continued to make progress this week, though, and he's already received the green light to end his absence at just one game. Jimmy G's return under center for the Raiders is a big boost to the entire offense and the fantasy values of running back Josh Jacobs and receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Garoppolo himself will continue to be more of a game manager with limited upside as a QB2 in fantasy lineups.
