Jimmy Garoppolo Expected To Play In Week 8

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) has been ruled out for the Week 7 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The veteran quarterback will miss his second game of the season after he sat out in Week 4 while in concussion protocol. Garoppolo hasn't practiced all week as he continues to deal with back soreness. Luckily, it sounds like a somewhat minor injury as Garoppolo is expected to return in Week 8. In the meantime, Brian Hoyer will likely be under center versus the Bears this weekend, while Garoppolo gets some extra time to rest.
