Houston Texans safeties Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and M.J. Stewart (shoulder) have been ruled out for the remainder of Week 9 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both players had initially been listed as questionable to return before having their statuses downgraded. This is a crushing loss for the Houston secondary, which will now need mid-week addition DeAndre Houston-Carson to step up and play more snaps alongside Jalen Pitre.
