Jets To Start Tim Boyle At Quarterback In Week 12
12 months ago

The New York Jets will start Tim Boyle at quarterback for their Week 12 matchup with the Miami Dolphins this Friday, according to a source. The Jets have seen enough of Zach Wilson, at least for the time being. Wilson flopped yet again in the team's 32-6 beatdown at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 on Sunday, with Wilson going 7-for-15 for just 81 yards, one touchdown and an interception for a QBR of 3.8. Boyle wasn't much better when he replaced Wilson in the second half, going 7-for-14 for 33 yards and a pick. The 29-year-old could easily be just as bad as Wilson or worse against Miami, and all of New York's offensive skill players -- mainly Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson -- could suffer as a result. Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) remains a long shot to return in 2023 after tearing his Achilles in Week 1.
