Jets To Retain Joe Douglas, Robert Saleh

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson confirmed to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that general manager Joe Douglas and head coach Robert Saleh will return for the 2024 season. There had been some speculation about a personnel shakeup in New York amidst a failed season, but it appears the current leaders will have one more chance to get the team on track next year. This decision does make sense given that most of the Jets' hopes for this season depended on Aaron Rodgers, who tore his Achilles in Week 1. While 2023 wasn't exactly a lost season as soon as Rodgers went down, expectations were certainly lower with Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Trevor Siemian playing quarterback roulette.
