Jets Believe Aaron Rodgers Suffered Serious Achilles Injury
one year ago

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters after Monday's 22-16 victory over the Buffalo Bills that he believes quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) suffered an Achilles injury and that "it's not good." The 39-year-old will head for an MRI on Tuesday, but the Jets seem to already be anticipating a potential torn Achilles. It's shaping up to be a crushing blow for New York after Rodgers couldn't even complete one pass before being forced from the season opener after just his fourth snap of the season. The entire Jets supporting cast stands to fall in terms of fantasy value for the rest of the season if Tuesday's MRI indeed confirms the worst outcome for the four-time MVP. 2021 No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson appears in line to start for the rest of the campaign.
