Jerrod Johnson Interviews For Eagles Offensive-Coordinator Job
10 months ago

Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson has interviewed for the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive-coordinator job, according to sources. Johnson has a background with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni from their time together with the Indianapolis Colts, and Johnson has emerged as one of the hottest offensive-coordinator candidates in the league because of his stellar work with rookie first-round quarterback C.J. Stroud in 2023. If the Eagles hire Johnson as their offensive coordinator, he'd be tasked with getting quarterback Jalen Hurts back on track after a down year in which he threw a career-high 15 interceptions. In addition to Johnson, the Eagles have also reportedly interviewed former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
