Jerome Ford Stays Limited At Practice

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Ford is still working through a Week 7 right high-ankle sprain he fought past to suit up in Week 8's 24-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Cleveland could be managing his practice reps ahead of Week 9's hosting of the Arizona Cardinals, as the 23-year-old was also limited during Wednesday's session. At least another limited practice would keep Ford on course to play on Sunday, but it remains to be seen what kind of workload he could embrace after taking just 10 touches for 39 last Sunday. Ford's injury may have allowed veteran Kareem Hunt, who has four touchdowns over his past three games, to poach some work from him, but they should both be playable as fantasy RB2s against a Cardinals defense giving up the third-most half-PPR fantasy points this year.
