Jerick McKinnon Set For More Work Sunday

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) is back after a two-game absence with a groin injury for Week 14's duel with the Buffalo Bills. McKinnon has operated under an ancillary role all season, handling 13 carries for 30 yards (career-worst 2.3 YPC) alongside 19 receptions for an additional 156 yards and three total touchdowns. But McKinnon returns just time for the Chiefs, who will be without lead back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) on Sunday for the first time this year. While it's arguably Clyde Edwards-Helaire who presents the largest boost in short-term fantasy value, K.C. could also lean on McKinnon's pass-catching expertise. Buffalo's defense has permitted the fourth-most targets (89), catches (68) and receiving yards (559) to the position, and they've also allowed the third-highest yards per carry (4.7). The 31-year-old veteran is a PPR RB3 with RB2 upside while in line for a bigger workload.
