Jerick McKinnon Remains On The Week 15 Map
11 months ago

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon teased shades of his late-2022 reign of terror after scoring a touchdown last Sunday. McKinnon rolled as fantasy's overall RB2 over the course of five games from Weeks 13 through 18 to wrap up last season, and fantasy managers hope the 31-year-old can rekindle some semblance of the magic and end 2023 on a high note. Clyde Edwards-Helaire saw the most substantial hike in short-term fantasy value with Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) out in Week 14, jumping from waiver-wire fodder to stopgap RB2 solution. McKinnon, on the flip side, barely managed season highs in the box score as well as snap share (45.5%) and matched a season best with 18 routes run. The pass-catching specialist is a PPR-specific RB3 with touchdown dependency when the Chiefs visit the New England Patriots without Pacheco again in Week 15, but note that K.C. is projected to play with a lead as fairly large favorites.
