Jerick McKinnon Barely Involved In Win Over Broncos
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon once again did very little in the 19-8 win over the division-rival Denver Broncos on Thursday night in a game in which Kansas City's offense only found the end zone one time. McKinnon didn't see a single carry and caught three of his five targets for 20 yards. It was the first time that the 31-year-old pass-catching back didn't have a rushing attempt since the season opener, but he also tied a season-high with his three receptions. He's really only had one fantasy relevant game, back in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears where he scored two touchdowns on three catches for 19 yards. McKinnon has become a desperation, touchdown-dependent pass-catching flex option in deep leagues.
