Jeremy Ruckert Won't Play In Week 17

New York Jets tight end Jeremy Ruckert (concussion) missed practice on Monday and will not play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17, head coach Robert Saleh told the media. With the Jets heading into a short week, it simply would not be feasible to expect Ruckert to clear concussion protocol in time for kickoff. The 23-year-old has been a depth option this season, playing in all 15 games but registering just 16 catches and 151 yards. Kenny Yeboah should earn more snaps behind Tyler Conklin on Thursday night.
