Jeff Okudah Misses Wednesday's Practice
one year ago

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jeff Okudah (ankle) did not take part in the team's practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury that he suffered early in training camp. Okudah still has several days left to return to practice, but right now he's in danger of having to miss the first game of the 2023 regular season in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old former first-round pick (third overall) of the Detroit Lions in 2020 out of Ohio State was able to make 15 starts for the Lions last year, recording 73 tackles (59 solo), an interception returned for a touchdown, seven passes defensed and a forced fumble after playing in 10 games in his first two NFL campaigns due to serious injuries. There may still be something in Okudah, but for now, he's off the fantasy radar in IDP formats.
