Jaylen Waddle Sore After Week 9 Loss
one year ago

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (knee) "definitely was sore" after the Week 9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany and that the team will take a "measured approach" with him. "He's in a good spot, however we're going to make sure we don't do any harm to him moving forward. He's had to battle injuries, unfortunately, this season," McDaniel said. The good news is Waddle and the Dolphins are on bye in Week 10, so he'll have extra time to rest up before a Week 11 date with the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 19. The 24-year-old left Sunday's game with a knee injury in the first quarter but was able to come back and finished with three catches for 42 yards in the 21-14 loss. It sounds like Waddle should be good to go after the bye week, but if he isn't, Cedrick Wilson Jr. would likely serve as the No. 2 behind Tyreek Hill against the Raiders.
